Whats Up?

US 'Millionaire Mentor' Arrested

In one of the more peculiar stories to appear recently, a middle-aged American who makes what appears to be a pretty decent living "mentoring" Ukrainians-for $3000 a pop - in how to become millionaires was arrested at the Russian border. Apparently Robert Fletcher, who runs the become-a-millionaire seminars through his company Global Systems Training -was trying to cross into Russia using a false Ukrainian passport on the Kyiv-Moscow train.

The incident throws light into one of the murkier corners of ex-pat culture here in Eastern Europe - the small group foreigners who come to the former Soviet UNI0N to take advantage of what remains of this region's 'Wild East' spirit and profit from whatever prestige their Western 'credentials' give them among naive natives. Fletcher seems to be an industrious fellow, in his own way: the Global Systems Training website indicates that he's involved with a disorienting array of projects here in Ukraine, from the 'Azov Sea Sport and Wildlife Resort' to the Premiere Limousine company that promises to "provide you with a limo at discount prices", and from a Crimean cruise outfit to something called 'Pizza Maximus'. There's also the Premiere' Business Club in Sevastopol, described as one "of the projects of honorary professor, doctor, academic, Millionaire-Mentor Robert Fletcher." Fletcher himself is a chubby chap with double chins, perpetual five o' clock shadow and long, greased-back blond locks that flow off a mostly balding head. His shiny clothes don't fit quite right and he doesn't look like someone who can teach you how to make millions. His website biography describes Fletcher as an Alaska native who grew up working in fisheries and at McDonalds before making a not-fully-explained bundle himself. "Robert reached the millionaire level himself with the help of millionaire mentors and his formula Time, Money, Contacts, Skills/Abilities, Credibility and now teaches others the secrets of millionaires. And he really has lots of experience and knowledge to share. He has 25-years experience in sales and marketing, 20 years in advertising, investing in stocks, business, real estate, during 10 years he was a National Sales Director of the USA, along with this he has been a consultant and adviser for a number of big American companies and made more than 2000 seminars and training." What a 'National Sales Director of the USA' exactly is, the site doesn't explain. Nor does it mention what 'big American companies' Fletcher consulted and advised for. And how, by the way, did Fletcher end up in Ukraine? To find a wife, of course. Subsequently, "He was thinking about retiring to live a quiet family life, but after he communicated with some Ukrainians, they did their best to convince him to become their mentor." There's no word yet on why Fletcher was using a false passport to enter Russia, nor on whether he'll be running his seminars in Kyiv anytime soon - assuming, that is, he remains a free man. The website seems to indicate that the seminars are being held so far in Sumy and Cherkassy, which will presumably soon see a spike in millionaire activity. Meanwhile, local media is reporting that Fletcher's business might have been a pyramid scheme, and that he's been accused in the US of swindling.

Hello there, thank you for forwarding me this link. It's this type of activity that is textbook for these people. I am not familiar with this Weybret fellow or any of his acquaintances. I had never read any of these articles that were published after I had gone on to graduate school. It's probably a good thing that I didn't see them until many years later.

Anyway, although somewhat entertaining and comical in my estimation I feel that what we are encountering here are some seriously bored individuals. Interestingly, what you will find with these folks is that they play a little game of cat and mouse usually with a fake identity and then run off and call the police. I hear that Weybret plays this little game as well, but I am not for certain as I know nothing about him. It's the type of behavior that you would expect of a 12-year-old child with serious mental deficiencies. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us in person face-to-face. I dont play the hide and seek game. Take care, and thanks again. Dr. Mark J Malvitz Ellis

Marty Weybret | 12.03.2010 19:14

Now that’s funny! Notice the corny dramatics used by the Lodi News Sentinel Marty Weybret and his side kick reporters are so full of shit. Malvitz didn’t “leave the San Joaquin Valley in disgrace.” He was accepted in graduate school that’s why he left the San Joaquin Valley. I enrolled in the exact same degree program that Mark did as we were both accepted at the same time. Mark finished his program a year before I did and went on to earn his second doctoral degree; no doubt, the man is brilliant.

I think Marty Weybret has shit for brains.

I kind of wonder if Marty is from San Francisco or something and thus his delusional hostility against this pastor. Maybe he was molested by a priest when he was a kid or something and has a real stick up his ass. No doubt, the goatee that he wears serves as an extra genital for Marty. Usually when people are as whacked out as Marty, they have some dark, dirty little secret that they are hiding. I know several ex-employees of the Lodi News Sentinel who are working together on a piece about Marty Weybret. This ought to be interesting for Marty.

Advice from an Amway lady | 02.03.2010 01:54

I have been involved selling Amway products for years. We have been set up on a multilevel marketing system since the beginning. I have made some really good money along the way. Almost any and every business venture has some form of multi-levels. It is important to be sure that the profits that are paid out are actually profits made and not simply money made by recruiting people into the company. If there are no actual profits made, then collapse of the company is inevitable. It is important that people do their homework before hopping on board the latest business opportunity whether it be Amway, Shackley, Melaleuca, with the Trump network. Hope this helps.

RE: Mark J. Malvitz | 01.03.2010 22:48

Dr. Mark J. Malvitz-Ellis gave an outstanding presentation on depositions, interrogatories, subpoenas and subpoenas duces tecum. He also stated to begin any discovery using methods described in his presentation it is important to serve original documents on the defendant, along with proof of service. Also, any information that is relevant to a particular case and is admissible as evidence can be obtained through discovery. He also stated that anyone can make discovery requests of any party in the lawsuit, as long as the party has filed an answer or other pleading with the court. It is also important to keep in mind that the discovery process is not an endless fishing expedition so it is important to understand the rules of discovery. Hope you all can join us at the next seminar.

Marty Weybret's obsession with this guy is nothing short of bizarre. Kind of makes you wonder what Weybret's sexual preferences are eh?

About Alton Mead | 22.02.2010 08:59

If I remember corectly, wasnt Alton Mead molested by his father William Mead Sr the sex offender? That could explain Alton's obesity. Not sure if there is any correlation with the little penis size though.

"Glenn Peterson Attorney Misconduct Investigation Heats Up -- Peterson loses big against Malvitz-Ellis"

The failed lawsuit led by Attorney Glenn Peterson of Roseville, CA concerning fraud / unfair business practices lawsuit against church pastor for misuse of donated funds and property and fiduciary duties proved to be a horrible failure and completely bogus indeed -- spawning an extensive attorney misconduct investigation.

The propaganda filled lawsuit abruptly ended with Attorney Glenn Peterson shamed with fines and sanctions by the Superior Court of Sacramento, California. Peterson’s bogus information sources were two individuals, Alton Mead and Mario Sebastian, who were dismissed from employment due to extreme moral failure at the ministry where Malvitz-Ellis was the Senior Pastor in the mid 90's. After his failed attempt against Malvitz-Ellis, Glenn W. Peterson was later sued for professional negligence according to Sacramento Superior Court records.

Gary R Wisner Fraud and Criminal prosecution | 22.02.2010 06:51

The main phony information source with the failed lawsuit led by Attorney Glenn Peterson was the jailed and convicted criminal Gary R. Wisner of Lodi California who was issued a $25,000 bench warrant for his arrest and also thrown in jail for child endangerment and sued by the Bank of Lodi for over $250,000 ending in bankruptcy. Wisner was also prosecuted on 15 felony counts including criminal assault against law enforcement agents. Wisner was ordered to post $310, 000 bail while incarcerated before facing his criminal trial.
A Stockton attorney stated: "Gary Wisner is a major fraud case and an obvious liar as he is facing multiple felony perjury crimes. He has been sued excessively for medical malpractice, breach of contract / warranty, fraud, harassment, defamation as well as criminally indicted, prosecuted, and jailed for child endangerment. He even attempted to file bankruptcy in the state of New York in order to keep from paying child support from his defrocked marriage. They ought to lock Wisner up in San Quentin and throw the key away.

    Get Out and Go Gogoling

As one of Ukraine’s biggest and best festivals showcasing all that is great about the artistic world, the fourth annual Gogolfest is back with increasing depth and intensity. In remembrance to the writer, playwright and carrier of that very name, Gogol’s influence as a creative force is recognised every September. And with the event’s old venue (Mystetskiy Arsenal) overshadowed by our country’s illustrious Dovzhenko Studios, that commemoration has certainly got bigger and better this year.

    Ukraine Today

    Book ‘Em Danylo

With more and more internationals making paths across Ukraine’s border, Kyiv’s police force has been getting out and cleaning up the city’s streets. And while this would typically be a welcome respite to the complete lack of attention residents often receive from City Administration, our boys in blue seem to be focusing in on all the wrong people. To find out just what’s been going on, the What’s On team have put on our night vision goggles and dusted off our super hearing enhancement devices and gone on a mission…
